Terms and Conditions for Bittcom Broadband Internet Service

1. Service Provider

Bittcom Communications Pvt Ltd, herein referred to as "Bittcom," is the provider of Bittcom Broadband Internet Service.

2. User Eligibility:

2.1 The subscriber must be a minimum of 18 years old to avail of Bittcom Broadband services.

2.2 Users are prohibited from violating any Government of India rules, regulations, or laws related to the use of the internet. Any violation may result in legal action under the Information and Technology Act.

3. IP Address Allocation:

3.1 Once an IP address is allocated to the subscriber, it cannot be changed without proper justification and authorization by Bittcom.

3.2 Hardware and MAC addresses are bound to the allocated IP address and cannot be altered without prior approval.

4. KYC Updates:

Subscribers are required to update their Know Your Customer (KYC) information annually. Failure to do so may result in the termination of the internet connection.

5. Prepaid Service:

Bittcom Broadband service is prepaid, and users are responsible for timely payments to maintain uninterrupted service.

6. Ownership of Installation Material:

6.1 All installation materials provided by Bittcom remain the property of the company.

6.2 Subscribers are obligated to return all installation materials upon surrendering the internet connection.

7. Legal Usage of Internet:

Torrenting is illegal in India, and Bittcom does not condone or support any illegal activity on its network.

8. Usage Logs:

8.1 Bittcom has the legal right to maintain usage logs of its subscribers.

8.2 Bittcom may forward usage logs to the government in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

9. Network Speed:

9.1 Bittcom assures the speed of its Fiber to the Home (FTTH) network for broadband connections without any wireless component.

9.2 Plans offering speeds greater than 100 Mbps are exclusively available for FTTH connections.

10. SIP Port Blocking:

10.1 SIP ports 5060/5061 are blocked by default on both broadband and leased line connections.

10.2 Subscribers must obtain Department of Telecommunications (DOT) authorization and provide a proper declaration with Customer Application Form (CAF) to have SIP ports opened.

11. Additional Public IP Addresses:

Extra public IP addresses are chargeable and subject to availability.

12. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:

By availing of Bittcom Broadband services, the subscriber agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions set forth by Bittcom Communications Pvt Ltd.
